Background

Timro Surakshya Hamro Kartabya (TSHK) is a non profit organisation that aims to raise awareness about child sexual abuse at different levels of the community such as schools, households, neighborhood, public spaces and so on; and educate  them about addressing this issue to protect children from sexual abuse and trauma. 

The purpose is to enable communities to have understanding, alertness, intolerance as well as tools to address child sexual abuse. Not only that, TSHK shall be working extensively in the field of advocacy, policy making and implementation to raise voices against Child sexual abuse. 

The team at TSHK has started this work in the USA and Nepal while it envisions replicating this programme in other countries in the future. 

TSHK has been working on raising awareness through digital medium very actively while also physically undertaking these campaigns and workshops at the grassroot level. The organsiation has designed an outreach program to be conducted at schools where the goal is to educate children, teachers and guardians about child sexual abuse, ways to identify them and address them before the children becomes victims or head into severe trauma. 

Many in the team being survivors themselves, TSHK comprises of individuals from different professions and experience such as social work, data science, child caseworking, governmental positions and such ,and everyone equally vocal about emphasising how serious a problem child sexual abuse in our societies no matter how privileged or underprivileged they are.
